Turkish Lady

Away from the tourist havens on the coast, the poverty of some Turkish villages is still apparent, although the house owned by this lady, cooking outside, possessed a large satellite dish. Frequently only the elderly are seen as the young emigrate to the service the tourist industry. However the villagers are fighting back and invite tourists to visit their mosque and learn about the traditional rug weaving methods. This village utilised Roman ruins as part of its foundations.
